Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session.
This integrated therapeutic approach to healing is designed to give you exactly what your body needs at the time, to provide you with relaxation, healing and freedom from pain. No more worries over whether you scheduled the right type of massage, this unique medical approach is designed to fit your individual needs at the time of service with a combination of massage modalities. The treatment is specifically directed to resolve acute or chronic conditions. Neuromuscular therapy, myofscial release, active/passive isolated stretching, shiatsu, hot/cold therapy, myoskeletal alignment techniques and swedish or deep tissue techniques may be utilized to free your body from pain. This enhances the bodies natural self healing process and reduces recovery time from injury.
Stone therapy is a type of bodywork that uses special volcanic stones and deep penetrating heat and/or cold therapy. The most common type is when the stones are heated. Stone therapy delivers a profound expansion and contraction effect inside the muscles which increases circulation improving the function of your body’s immune system and enhances its self healing mechanisms. This style of bodywork takes you into deep states of relaxation releasing stress and anxiety, detoxifying the body, relieving chronic aches and pains and balances the nervous system.
Trigger Point therapy is a style of bodywork that focuses on stimulating and releasing “trigger points” or “knots” in the belly of the muscles or at the attachments. Trigger points are similar to acupressure points except that they occur in the muscles rather than along the energy pathways of the body. These “knots” build up in your muscles from repetitive use, mental and or emotional stress.
During your session we first warm up the muscles with deep tissue techniques, then stretch the myofascia to lengthen the muscle fibers and apply direct pressure to the area of tension using various techniques in order to release your trigger points. Proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation and Myoskeletal alignment techniques may also be utilized to create space in the joint capsules and relieve chronic pain patterns.
Trigger point therapy can be painful, however keep in mind that we are releasing pain rather than inflicting pain and it should be a “hurt-so-good” type of sensation. The effects are lasting and can be profoundly transformative.
Myofascial release is a form of deep soft tissue therapy intended to eliminate pain, increase range of motion, and rebalance the entire body. It does this by using massage techniques to stretch the fascia and release the knots that exist between the fascial layers. Our bodies are 65% fascia. Fascia is the connective tissue that connects each individual muscle fiber to the muscle , holds in organs, and skeletal structures of the body. Direct myofascial release is sometimes known as deep tissue work or trigger point therapy. Indirect release applies pressure and gently stretches the fascia; this allows for deep unwinding of the fibers within the fascial layers that have been stuck, an increase in range of motion and relief from pain. I have been trained in numerous myofacial release techniques including Neuromuscular Therapy, Trigger point, Dalton, Rossiter and Knowles.
Neuromuscular therapy is a system of massage techniques that were developed in the 1930's by Dr. Stanley Lief in England. It uses a holistic approach towards healing, emphasizing and stimulating the body's natural ability to heal itself. Neuromuscular therapy also enhances the function of joints and muscles, and accelerates the overall healing process by facilitating the release of endorphins.
Developed by Aaron Mattes and revolutionized by Bruce Baltz Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) is a dynamic system for improving your flexibility and overall well-being. As you probably already know, stretching your muscles not only reduces your chance of injury, but also strengthens your tendons and improves your circulation as well as prevention and recovery from injury. As the name states this is an active form of stretching, meaning the client facilitates the movement and the therapist assists in taking it further.
Lymphatic Drainage Therapy aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique, LD can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
Orthopedic massage is a style of massage therapy focused on treating painful conditions that affect the soft tissues of the body. Because orthopedic massage is designed to treat medical conditions, it requires extensive training. It involves releasing tense muscles, helping to stretch and lengthen tight muscles and tendons, and decompress rigid joints. My goal is to restore full health to the soft tissues of your body, both treating your specific conditions as well as improving your overall well-being.
This is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, percussion, and long gliding strokes to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Experience Hypnosis - a natural state of mind where intentional access is gained into the subconscious. An extaordinary quality state of mental, physical and emotional relaxation much like meditation. In fact meditation is a form of self-hypnosis.
Hypnosis is not sleeping, nor can a hypnotherapist make you do anything unknowingly that you don't willingly wish to experience. A hypnotherapist is simply a guide that accompanies and assists the client into and throughout the process of relaxation, focused awareness and intentional mind training.
Hypnosis is often used for: self improvement, to alleviate pain and discomfort in the body, intentional mind training, accelerate healing post surgery, pre-operative surgery, procedural pain reduction, childbirth, reduce migraines/headaches, reduce stress, lower blood pressure, release emotional baggage, spiritual guidance, expand consiousness and change unwanted habits or behavior to create positive change in your life. The most common things most people have heard of it being used for is quiting smoking and losing weight.
Hypnosis causes shifts in your awareness and self perception, builds confidence and increases self esteem, increases assertiveness and helps you overcome fears and phobias.

Bring your feet to life and your body’s organs and systems back into balance with this amazing ancient healing technique. Designed to provide total body detoxification; release of physical & energetic blockages, and promote the body’s own healing abilities. Start with a relaxing foot soak using an exfoliating scrub and 100% NATURAL ingredients to awaken the senses and draw out toxins. Followed up with various massage techniques used on the feet, ankles and legs to stimulate lymph flow and awaken the thousands of nerve endings in the soles of the feet that connect to all of the organs and systems in your body. Unlike a foot massage, Reflexology is a far more in depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology every part of the human body’s organs, systems and skeleton are mapped out on the feet and hands. The ears are said to be a reflection of us as an infant curled up into the fetal position and map out the major reflex points along the spinal column. Feet and ears are included in this reflexology experience!
During a session your practitioner works in energetic connection with you in order to remove blockages, detoxify your energy system, and restore your vital life force energy. Ancient healing modalities utilized in Tibet and Japan have been passed down through oral and apprentice positions from our ancestors for thousands of years and are utilized to create relaxation, peace of mind and promote the bodies’ own natural healing abilities.Your practitioner may attune or align your Chakras or use crystals to enhance the healing process. Other advanced skills may be utilized such as Breathwork, Toning and Quantum healing techniques to help you reach your maximum potential for healing. The benefits of energy work range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain, increased energy, more restful sleep patterns and increased immune system response.
Anytime two or more forms of matter are joined together, a third type of existence is created. A third type of frequency, vibration and energy is formed; a sum greater than the whole of its parts. This is what happens during a quantum energy work session. The person, the “Healer” or “Energy Worker” working with you taps into the universal life force within you and the universal intelligent matrix that connects all matter bringing the knowledge, unconditional love and perfect state of being into your reality. Awakening your cells to their purest form of existence and allowing them to remember who you really are. The healer or energy worker acts as a conduit for the energy and information to pass through directing it through focus and intent into your cells where your body will automatically know where it needs to go and what to do with the information. With quantum healing there is no need to analyze everything that is out of balance, that which you may be holding on to and are no longer in need of which prevents your personal growth. We each already know what our issues are. We have grown beyond having to psychoanalyze everything. Instead we just move it on out to make room for the new energies of universal intelligence to enter your body. With quantum healing you will notice changes in your subtle energy body during the healing session, feel changes in your physical body and feel a difference afterwards as the healing continues for days. Only 1-3 treatments are necessary for any condition. Your healing practitioner may utilize many healing tools during this treatment such as breathwork, toning, crystals, chakra therapy, meditation and visualization.

Rossiter Method is a type of deep myofascial release work that is carried out on the floor. The client remains fully clothed and is instructed through movements while the coach presses on specific target areas to treat their problem. This work gets to the root cause of the problem not just the symptoms. Sessions can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour depending on the ailment. Usually only 2-3 sessions are needed to correct the problem.

Structural integration employs soft tissue manipulation with the goal of realigning the body in relationship to the force of gravity. The theory underlying structural integration asserts that often the body's connective tissue or fascia is "bound up," thus restricting opposing muscles from working independently of one another. Thus, we aim to loosen the restricted connective tissue by using a practice very similar to deep tissue massage. This is a deep fascial release technique.
